Today I am off to the LAST RED SOX GAME of the regular season. It is a meaningless game for the Sox as they've clinched the AL East already but Fenway will be electric with the anticipation of the playoffs. They also give a car away on the last game of the season so I have a 1 in 37,000 (give or take) chance of winning it.
Before dashing off for an afternoon of baseball hysteria, I'll take a moment to reflect on the importance of spreading roots:
Job 14:7For there is hope for a tree, when it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And its shoots will not fail.
God bless baseball season....
ReplyDeleteGreat passage from Job. Good thing he found the light at the other end. I wonder whose team will feel like that tree this season and have to wait a year to sprout again.
God is a Red Sox Fan!!
