I came across a new traffic generating idea on my Bumpzee Day in the Life Community called Ad Gridwork. It's a a free advertising network and text link exchange.
Basically, all you do is add your site(s), display an ad block on your site(s) and your ad appears on thousands of other sites in the network. Pretty simple, eh?
They're still working on blending color options, but its a good concept so I'm giving it a whirl.
