Lawyers are a necessary evil. I had to hire one recently to keep from getting thrown off my spot before Christmas. I haven't ever been in any real trouble that required a lawyer, unless you count my first marriage.

I do have a "go to" guy should I ever get in serious trouble. He's a former prosecutor and he knows most of the clerks and judges in the various area courts. If I ever get into some serious trouble, I have his card.
