Start Young, Retire Young

There are good lawyers and bad lawyers. Bad lawyers are the greedy bastards like my ex wife hires to suck away my money and the very fabric of my soul. The good lawyers are folks like estate planning lawyers; they actually HELP you.

Most people I know don't have an estate plan in place. That's a bad idea, especially in Massachusetts. If you don't have a will, the State decides how to distribute anything you leave behind. If you've ever dealt with a State agency before, you know it will be a bureaucratic mess and the state will suck away your hard earned dollars. This is Bad, BAD! Why should the state divvy up your assets? YOU should decide.

Of course, it would be nice to retire early and ENJOY what I've earned rather than worry about what's going to happen when I'm gone! If I could retire today, I'd buy a brand new Hot Dog Truck and travel around the country serving my dogs. I could do my own reality TV show about it and my wife would watch it! I'd get to meet lots of people and see America in a very genuine way. I'd even stop in Arizona and Nevada to see the estate planning lawyers at Morris, Hall and Kinghorn.

Once I was done with that, I'd like to travel around the world. I'd like to see Europe and the UK, Australia, Japan, China, South America and even Africa. There are so many places I want to see I couldn't begin to list them. While traveling, I'd look for a place I could spend the rest of my days and come back to it once I was through.

I don't know if I can ever get to all those places, but I'm sure going to try.
