Today was the fourth day of my price increase. Most people didn't seem to even notice it. A few said "Oh, you went up" while happily handing over their money.
Some of my more "colorful" customers really busted my balls.
Jim# 1 ordered, handed me $3.50, then with a big flourish said "OOOH, you went up, let me go scrounge up some more change!" Then he started rummaging around in his car to produce an additional $.50. After a couple of minutes and some dramatics, he handed me a dime, 3 nickels and five pennies. The entire time he was busting my balls loudly for all to hear.
Jim # 2 questioned the difference in "value." He wanted an extra napkin and a FREE STRAW with his meal!

Seriously, most folks didn't bat an eye at the increase and even the ball busters have been back again. I DO have the best hot dogs after all.
