I have two identical signs I put out at the side of the road to let folks know I'm open. It's especially important now since I moved down the street. People pass my old spot and wonder where I am until they see the
signs announcing my presence at the new spot.
When I get a new location in the spring, I'll need new signs for the truck and the roadside. I may drop the dime on some new signs and I'll probably make them myself at buildasign.com because I can get a professional looking sign on the cheap. They have all kinds of signs from yard signs to parking signs, banners to magnetic truck signs. Since I design them myself online, I save big bucks.
I know I need signage, but I am, after all, a cheap bastard! Getting a nice sign for the Hot Dog Truck is important without breaking the bank! I've always said: "a business without a sign is a sign of no business!"
