Do you like to ski? Do you want a family winter recreation option that offers the speed and thrill of skiing without the physical strain and huge expense? Then do what I did over the Christmas week-GO TUBING!
Tubing is simply sledding down a mountain on an inner tube. We went to a place called Saint Sauvier about an hour north of Montreal on the 27th and it was a blast. The whole day only cost $165.00 (that includes snacks at the base lodge). Compare that to $100 per person (with ski rentals and lift tickets-NO SNACKS) for skiing-with 7 people in the family THAT would have been an expensive day!
Many ski areas are offering tubing now and you can Google "Tubing" for places to go in your neck of the woods. Your kids will love it and so will you, the Hotdogman GUARANTEES IT!
