The Bible is, like the rest of the world we live in, full of beauty and inspiration. It is also full of vengeance and wrath. Take care in the way you may live your life, lest this fate await you.
Ezekiel 7: 7-9
Doom has come upon you—you who dwell in the land. The time has come, the day is near; there is panic, not joy, upon the mountains. I am about to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you; I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices. I will not look on you with pity or spare you; I will repay you in accordance with your conduct and the detestable practices among you. Then you will know that it is I the LORD who strikes the blow.

I read this and think God came from New Hampshire: Be Nice or Die.
It's all so simple.
God bless.
I'm trying to find the blessing in your post. Is it that you quote the wrath of God part to show that some in Biblical history disregarded the blessings right in front of their noses?
I do take care in the way I live my life but not to avoid God's wrath. Unfortunately, I sin daily BUT God forgives me when I repent and because I believe in Jesus,I am saved. He sees me through Jesus who is perfect. OK, end of sermon. . .
Happy blog your blessings Sunday!
Happy BYB Sunday and have a great week ahead!
Sandy- Just remember, God's a Red Sox fan!
Paulie- Maybe a cautionary Blessing. I was in a "dark" mood when I put this one together. The Wrath of God stuff in the Bible interests me though.
Panther- The same 2 U!
Red Sox fan? Perhaps... but he's certainly no Toronto Maple Leafs fan!!!!
Happy BYB Sunday! The wrath stuff---not for me! :-)
Woah, God as angry father. I like the God who waits on prodigal son better. LOL
