Now that the Christmas season is officially over, I can turn back to whatever interests and inspires me for these weekly posts. The excesses of the Christmas season provide for reflection. After all the presents have been put away, I wonder what will last. Simple thanks for what is important is all we'll ultimately need.
Psalm 37:25-27
I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.
They are always generous and lend freely;
their children will be blessed.
Turn from evil and do good;
then you will dwell in the land forever.

What better advice than to turn from evil and do good? So simple. This is a good thought, Hotdogman. Sometimes I think the best part of Christmas presents is the paper--the very thought of being thought of is gift enough and requires neither batteries nor maintenance.
Truly said!
Have a great week ahead.
yes, turn from those evil Red Sox and do good to the Yankees. ;]
Happy New Year!
Great Bible quote--so very true! Happy BYB Sunday!
I like that "dwell in the land forever." It is like a free pass.
Am late this week but still wanted to drop by. . . the word thanks is counting your blessings itself!
