What: Where can you get some of the best food in New England – from barbeque and lobster rolls, to grilled cheese and desserts – all in one place and all on wheels? At the SUFFOLK DOWNS FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL on Saturday, October 22nd! The rapidly growing food truck phenomenon is here to stay as Boston’s historic Thoroughbred racetrack hosts their first-ever food truck festival with a full afternoon of live racing, great food, and fun for all ages and appetites!

The list of trucks is continuously growing; here are some you can expect to see:

Captain’s Coffee Brewers – A cafĂ© on wheels, serving up high quality cappuccino, lattes, coffee, pastries and the now famous Captain's Cold Brew.

Daddy’s Fried Dough – Daddy's Fried Dough provides freshly made dough; fried golden brown topped with real butter, powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Franca’s Wood Fired Catering – Specializing in wood-fired pizza, calzones, and more, all cooked to perfection!

Lobsta Love – Precious lobster rolls and award winning clam chowder – savor the sweet taste of summer all year long.

Mobile Home – A Boston-based food truck offering a selection of thoughtfully prepared dishes inspired by classic home cooking and comfort-style cuisine.

Spoon Truck – From ribs, apple wood smoked chicken and pulled pork to hush puppies and more, this is uncomplicated BBQ.

Sweet Truck – Serving up old fashioned, uncomplicated baked treats from your childhood, including apple cider doughnuts and ginger molasses chewy cookies!

Woodman’s of Essex – Since 1914 the Woodman family has served up hearty portions of seafood and memories and now they are taking their award winning restaurant on the road with their famous fried clams.

And more to come!
