UCLA STUDY (very interesting and short)
A study worth sharing with friends both male and female:
A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the
kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can differ depending on where she
is in her menstrual cycle.
For example: if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features.
However, if she is menstruating or menopausal, she tends to be more attracted to a man with duct tape over his
mouth and a spear lodged in his chest with a bat up his ass while he is on fire.

Hot Dog Cookout
If you have ever driven to Montreal from the Boston area in August, you will see corn.
Lots of corn.
There's corn growing everywhere you look.
So much that you may get dizzy! So what do you think they serve at the big family BBQ?
If you guessed corn, YOU'RE RIGHT!
But, there's other stuff on the menu too-standard party fare- veggies and dip, bread and pate, various appetizers and HOT DOGS!
The dogs get grilled until crispy...
We went a little easy on Little Miss' standard plain dog...
I dressed mine all around.
Someone ordered some poutine for delivery, so I made a poutine dog: all around with poutine on top! DELISH!
Delicioushouse Ribs
If there's one thing I like as much as hot dogs, it's RIBS! Ribs are fairly inexpensive too. You can buy them all done up, but it's better to make your own-that way you can vary the sauce.
The one problem with making ribs at home is it can take a looooong time on the grill and you have to keep basting them. So when I found this recipe for Juicy Tender Oven Roasted Barbecue Baby Back Ribs, I decided to give them a try.
WOW! These ribs are yummy! I have made them 5 or 6 times in the past two months and the family is wanting more.
A cool thing about this method is you can switch up your sauces. I've made them with barbecue sauce, garlic teryaki sauce, sweet and sour sauce, and a homemade ginger sauce. They come out perfect every time with this method.
Check out the recipe at Delish, you won't be sorry. They're DELISH!
A pitcher of Guinness?
So Mrs. Hotdogman and I are out at a bar last week checkin' out Playin' Dead (one of the drummers was a die hard Hot Dog Truck regular back in the day) and the bartender starts filling a pitcher full of Guinness. A pitcher of Guinness?
I've been to a couple of bars through the years and Mrs. Hotdogman was a bartender for 6 years; neither one of us has EVER seen someone order a pitcher of Guinness. The bartender who filled it hadn't ever seen it either- in fact he informed the person who ordered it that it really wasn't the best idea. I don't know if I'd ever see this again, so I snapped a picture.
It does look delicious! Maybe I'll take a pitcher for myself; it's really just a big mug......
