School Shootings

Any normal, compassionate human being is horrified by the shootings at V-Tech. It is a terrible tragedy beyond my comprehension.

Many people look to the Texas Tower shootings as the "first" example of deadly violence in our nations schools.

The sad fact is violence and death in schools has been with us for a long time.

This chart (very detailed-read whole page) illustrates violence in schools and shows it is a universal problem, not just an American one.

When will we stop killing each other?

dude, I hate to break this to ya, but Zep isn't together anymore. LOL Zep was absolutely awesome but that doesn't mean going to any other concert is worthless because they won't compare to Zep. Plus I only went to be a chaperone to my mom. and you know what I found out as a result of going? Donnie Iris was fucking kickass even though he's like 60 years old now. Expand your horizons, mon!

I had tickets to see them in Philly in 1980 and Bonham died about 3 weeks before the show.

Led Zep was not allowed to play in Boston because of a huge riot at one of their shows in the 1970's.
