Put the Garden to Bed

It being Labor Day weekend, we'll be hitting the beach one last time before we get into the weekend runaround of soccer games, football games, swim practices and everything else. We'll be spending Labor Day laboring in the garden-deadheading the flowers, transplanting, collecting fallen brush and just generally cleaning things up before the leaves fall. We'll also be checking the Garden Lighting to make sure it will withstand the winter.

Now is a good time of year to buy garden accessories at a discount as many stores are clearing out the summer stock.
