Check Your Google Page Rank

I found this cool Google Page Rank Checker Site over at Ian's Blog.

I have been reading about many bloggers who've lost page rank in recent months due to selling text link ads and other things. One blogger buddy claims he's lost page rank due to his participation in a variety of link exchanges with other bloggers, myself included.

I have been holding steady at PR 4 for about 5-6 months now, but I still check my PR regularly. The tool here checks the PR at different Google data centers, so you get a better idea of where you are at. It's also fun to check the PR of others sites.

Who knows how Google figures out page rank, I've read a bunch of different explanations and the only conclusion I can come to is there's a room full of evil Google Page Rank elves somewhere and they just make it up as they go along!
