I interviewed Dave Alwan for the Shark Tank Blog to get an Echo Valley Meats update. Dave appeared on the show last spring, but didn't get a deal. He sold a few tons of meat though, so much he has an update segment scheduled for October 4.
Dave sent a bunch of delicious samples after we talked. He told me about his Shark Tank Success story and all about his business. His food was FANTASTIC, but he never sent any hot dogs! No hot dogs for the Hotdogman - can you believe that?
I got around to asking him THE QUESTION:
"Do you put ketchup on your hot dogs?"
His answer:
"No! Never. My hot dogs and sausages are so good, I eat them plain."
Well Dave, at least you didn't butcher THAT answer!
