I had the opportunity to speak with Cameron Smith before he and partner Joel Clark pitch Kodiak Cakes on Shark Tank.
We talked about the long, slow growth of the business, Cameron's contributions, last year's sales, the road to Shark Tank and all about their website upgrades.
When we were done, I asked Cameron THE QUESTION:
"Do you put ketchup on your hot dogs?"
His answer:
"I used to. Now I'm more of a mustard, kraut, and pickles guy."
I see that Utah degree made him a smart young man!
