Archie's on a Roll at Marlborough Car Show June 24

Stalwart Hot Dog Man Alan Archibald moved his hot dog truck to my old location at 420 Maple Street in Marlborough, MA this season. The parking lot in front of Gold's Gym is the new location of Archie's on a Roll! I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped by to say hi and get one of his famous Michigan Dogs.

I didn't see the Michigan on the menu though! Oh No!

Alan explained he had re-named some of his dogs for the new spot. The Archie Dog is the new name for a dog with his famous Michigan Sauce.

I ordered up a Michigan with mustard and onions. Michigan sauce is an all meat sauce that is tomato based. It is similar to a Coney sauce in texture, but a tad sweeter. True Detroit Coney sauce, of course, has no tomatoes. Regardless of the ingredients, this is a delicious dog!

If you happen to be in Marlborough, MA on June 24, Archie will be slinging dogs at the Fourth Annual Main Street Car Show. They'll be shutting down the downtown area and displaying classic and antique cars all day. If you're a car nut, or if you like good hot dogs, check it out. The show is put on by the Shriners. Alan is a Shriner and will be driving a mini big rig in the 4th of July Parade in Natick.

Archie's is an old stand by stand for the Hotdogman. I visited his hot dog truck for last year's tour, but we're limiting "repeats" this year. Either way, Alan wished me well on this year's quest.
